Looking for a place to eat in historic Steilacoom?  We can recommend two, particularly for lunch -- Topside Bar and Grill and The Bair Bistro.
Topside offers outdoor seating with a nice water view.  It's open Mon -Thurs, 11 am to 9 pm; Fri and Sat 11 am to 10 pm; and Sun 11 am to 9 pm.

Near Topside you will find The Bair Drug and Hardware (1617 Lafayette Street; 253-588-9668; ) which has retained its historic interior look.  It still offers good ice cream which many may remember from visits years ago.  It's open Tues - Sat 8 am to 4 pm and Sun 8 am to 2 pm, while closed on Mondays.

For other venues, we recommend you log onto, click on 'Town of Steilacoom' and then click on 'Explore Steilacoom' for additional dining options as well suggestions for local site-seeing.  You might even consider picking up some prepackaged food and taking a leisurely ferry ride out on Puget Sound.
