Evelyn Dunman (Smith)
Social Worker Married 1 2012-08-06 19:56:52
Leroy & I have been married 48 years, and mostly have had a wonderful life.  We have one daughter and two grandsons, 16 months and 8 years.  They live close by and we  enjoy spend- ing a lot of time with them., so I have given up doing most of the supervision and consultation to other therapists and schools that I have done over the past 40 years.  But  I still love my work, so continue to work parttime, both in my private practice, and doing the cliniclal supervision of "For the Kids' Sake" program for the courts for Snohomish County.  Life is good. Retired Engineer Married 1 2012-08-06 19:56:52
After wandering through the University of Washington in the departments of physics, math, forestry and computer science, I earned my PH.D in computer science in 1971.  I worked 3 years at Mitre and 32 at Boeing, and retired 3 years ago as Chief Engineer of B-2 and ALCM programs.  Since then we've been enjoying a different lifestyle, though it changed a year or so ago when we took on day care of our 2nd grandchild.  I've changed more diapers already than I ever did with our own kid.  Still happily married to Evelyn, whom I've known since the 6th grade.  Trina, our daughter, is a software manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance. I retired in 2000 as Admin. Asst. to the VP of Finance & Admin. & Director of Business Services at the University of Puget Sound.  After my husband retired (2003), we moved to Sun City Grand in Surprise, AZ, just NW of Phoenix.  We are actively involved with the many wonderful resort-like amenities this community offers, making every day feel like we are on vacation.  We are blessed to have both of my daughters and their families (5 grandchildren) living within about 30 miles of us--all "migrating" from Washington.  We enjoy using our timeshares, as well as spending time with our friends and family.  Life is great, and we count our blessings each day.  Although I will, unfortunately, not be able to attend this reunion, I will look forward to any future "gatherings" that may be scheduled.  Wishing everyone a wonderful evening--hoping there will be many, many pictures posted to the reunion website.  A "thank you" is extended to all who made this great website possible.
Best to everyone--Sandy

So sorry I missed the grand reunion! I'll have to settle for hearing stories and enjoying pictures as they are posted.
The photo is the "just before the launch" when my lovely Oz spooked big time, leaving me with a femur full of plates and pins. He promises to be better behaved before the 55th when I will see you all!

My husband, Ray, and I have been married for 50 years.  We have 4 grand daughters and 1 great grand daughter.

Over the years, we have done our fair share of skiing, camping, hiking, boating, fishing, bowling, golfing, traveling, rv traveling.  Now, it is mostly taking care of the family beach place.

The web page is fantastic.  I very much enjoy reading the profiles of classmates from '61.  Well done, crew.
