Classmate Profiles
This is your opportunity to provide a little bit about what has occupied your life for the past 60 years.  Be as cryptic or as verbose as you desire.  Just one little word of caution -- our committee reviewer is known to strike out explicit profanity.  Any photographs you also wish to share can be downloaded in the 'image box'.

Provide as much or as little contact information you wish to appear on your profile page.  Should you seek unlisted contact information about a classmate, please send us a query on the "Contact Us" page.  We will endeavor to coordinate your inquiry with that person.

Profiles for the 2011 and 2016 Reunions have been retained.  Use yours as you wish to modify, delete and/or add more comments.

If you have forgotten or lost your personal password, please create a new Profile and we will make an effort to combine the current and older information together.  Since we have no record of your old password,  please keep track of your new one.

George and I have been married for 48 yrs, 10 of which we lived in Arizona.  Periodicaly we would come back to Washington to visit my family and let me hug a fir tree and wet my feet in Puget Sound, And then on a visit 38 years ago George was offered a good job at Twin City Foods in Stanwood and he said yes. We packed up and moved here. We found a nice place on Camano Island, whose claim to fame was NO FERRY just a bridge.  The boys grew up having to make some "difficult" choices in the summer---do we check the crab pots first, do we go fishing or do we water ski! And in the winter they had to give up their Saturdays to ski at Stevens!!!           While they were doing these things I worked at the Stanwood Library checking out books to people and telling them where to go----that's found in the 600, Fiction is around the corner and that's a really good question for our reference person.  I retired fourr years ago and now volunteer at Elger Bay Elementary, in the library reading to 2nd graders.   Oh and Camano's newest claim to fame -----Home of the Bare Foot Bandit!

After one year at St. Martin's in Lacy, WA, I got my appointment to the US Naval Academy, where I joined Tom Galbraith, who was one year ahead.  I graduated in June 1966 and married then set off to Pensacola, FL for flight training.  Got my "Wings of Gold" in October 1967 and after extensive trainng reported to my squadron in Quonset Point, RI in April 1968.  In 1971 I attended the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA earning Masters and Engieer's Degrees in Aeronautical Engineering.  In 1974 I reported to the GUAM (LPH-9) for a disassociated tour.  In 1976 I reprted to the US Naval Academy to teach Mechanical Engineering.  In 1979 I retrained in the H-3 Helicopter and reporetd to an operational test and evaluation squadron in southern MD.  My next tour was at the Naval Aviation Logistics Center as the Executive Assistant for the Commander.  My final tour was Deputy Program Manger for Minesweeping Helicopters at the Naval Air systems Command in Washington, DC.  I retired from the Navy in August 1988 and went to work for an engineering company in Annapolis, MD.  I retired in January 2006.
In 2016, my wife of nearly 50 years died.  I moved to Colorado to be with my son and daughter and grandson.  In 2018 I began dating the widow of a Naval Academy Classmate.  We were married in August 2018 and eventually found our current home.

Steve (from Anacortes) and I met at WSU.  We have been married and living in Seattle for 46 years.  He wanted a harem.  He got it--1wife, 2 daughters, 4 granddaughters. We are semi-retired but are kept pretty busy with our rentals in Tacoma.  For years I have enjoyed antique button collecting and genealogy.  Thanks to the CP committee which as worked hard to put on this reunion. Life is really very ordinary, but good.   My husband, Doug Bassett (class of 1960) and I recently celebrated our 49th Wedding Anniversary.  We have one son who makes us very proud, a daughter-in-law we adore, and a  3 1/2 year old grandson (I smile just thinking of him).  I enjoyed my work as Deputy Clerk of the Pierce County Council and retired at 60 in 2003.  We have had the pleasure of doing quite a bit of traveling.  I still have my health and many close girlfriends.  I laugh a lot and play a pretty fair game of bridge.  All in all, my life to date has far exceeded my expections.

Ralph and I are retired.  We have one son (Richard), and celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in June.  Though we won't be there for the reunion this year, we will be in touch with old friends and hope others will look us up, too.  Happy reunion!
